HOW TO GET INVOLVED IN THE SUSTAINABILITY OF THE EVENT

  • When talking to exhibiting companies, don't forget to ask about the sustainability credentials of their products and business processes.
  • Instead of throwing away your badge at the end of the event, place it in one of the recycling bins.
  • Consider organizing your transportation to the event by carpooling with colleagues or using public transportation to reduce your carbon footprint.
  • Avoid using disposable products.
  • Take advantage of the waste recycling opportunities available on site.
  • Only accept gifts or brochures that you really need and plan to use.
  • Participate in the initiatives and conversations scheduled during the event to facilitate and inspire sustainable development in the industry.

    • Ensure that your stand is designed to be reusable for future events and that it can be easily dismantled and recycled.
    • Try to consolidate shipments and choose logistics companies with strong sustainability credentials to reduce your carbon footprint.
    • Opt for digital brochures and purchase recycled and certified materials to reduce your environmental impact.
    • Use low-energy LED lighting and switch off equipment at the end of each day to save energy.
    • Consider the quantity and environmental credentials of promotional giveaways, as well as their long-term usefulness.
    • Support regional sustainability by using local suppliers and locally sourced products.
