Specialist in Plastics, with more than 40 years of experience in the plastic industry internationally. At an early age he began to travel due to the lack of specialized careers in this field at that time, to link with different development Institutes in the world, where he lived, studied and worked, achieving multiple training and technical experiences in plastics, which have allowed personal growth and a very special global vision of this industry, connecting with plastics world throughout all production chain, from petrochemicals to the final consumer.

Expert in Polymer Science and Technology with 26 years of experience. It has an excellent domain in Petrochemical, Refining and Gas processes; in addition to an effective combination of R&D in the implementation of technological improvements for production processes. Chemical Engineer with a Master's Degree in Chemical Process Engineering from UNAM, and a PhD in Macromolecular Materials and Composites from the National Institute of Applied Sciences of Lyon, France. He did postgraduate studies at the IPADE Business School. He worked at Dynasol Elastómeros and at Pemex Transformación Industrial.

He studied Chemistry at UNAM. From 1992 to 1996 he began working at the CID (Center for Research and Technological Development of the Industria Resistol Group). In 1999 he obtained his Master's degree in Polymer Physical Chemical at the Faculty of Chemistry-UNAM. In 2003 he achieve Doctor’s degree at Louis Pasteur University, Strasbourg, France, working on the synthesis and development of an application for Semiconductor Polymers. From 2004 to 2008 he did some research stays at the Institute of Chemistry (IQ-UNAM), the Institute of Nuclear Sciences (ICN-UNAM) and the Institute of Materials Research (IIM-UNAM). At the end of 2008 he re-entered the CID (Kuo Group Technological Research and Development Center), where he continued his research on issues related to plastics and polymers.
In 2012, he joined CIATEQ at the unit located in Lerma State of Mexico known as the Plastic Engineering and Technology Center, its activities are mainly focused on the achievement and execution of technological development projects and “root cause” analysis services for plastic sector industries.

Professional with more than 15 years of experience in Planning, Development, Management and Consolidation of Business Organizations. Event logistics, government relations, project monitoring, negotiation, budget management and HHRR management. He was Advisor’s Coordinator of the C. Secretary of Agrarian Reform, Federal Government, with Agronomist Abelardo Escobar Prieto, and Federal Delegate in Michoacán of the Secretariat of Agrarian Reform. He was CEO of Coparmex Michoacán. He is currently a member of the Board of Directors of CONCAMIN.

Metallurgical Chemical Engineer from UNAM and PhD in Polymers from the Center for Research in Applied Chemistry (CIQA). Doctoral and Postdoctoral stay at the University of Bayreuth, Germany from 2002 to 2005. He worked at the Electrical Research Institute from 2005 to 2013 as a researcher in the development and characterization of polymeric materials for the power electrical industry, where he developed and implemented new characterization procedures for dielectric role and residual life diagnosis of power transformers and reactors. Since 2013 he has worked for the Center for Research in Applied Chemistry as Associate Researcher where he was Laboratory Coordinator and project leader for PEMEX Petroquímica and Pemex Etileno. Currently he is collaborating in development projects and technical assistance for the plastics industry. It has 3 technological developments and 5 copyrights.

Among his current responsibilities are: General Director of Plastic Additives de México. Provider of additives for PVC, Polyolefins, Polyurethane and Engineering Plastics. General Director of Tsaakik, Chemical Specialties for Plastics. General Director of Arpema Plásticos, Provider of conditioned recycled plastic materials. Professor at the Business Center for Plastic Additives and Polymers for more than 20 years. He is Chairman of the Technical Certification Committee and the Ethics and Transparency Committee at the National Center for Product Certification.
