There were 29,302 qualified visitors attending PLASTIMAGEN México 2006, which, once again, maintained the quality of previous events in terms of the presence of decision makes; 27% of the attendees were CEOs and 23 % were from production and manufacturing areas, responsible for recommending purchases. Almost 30% attended the event with the intention of purchasing and making contact with new suppliers and 66% to find out about new products, which is possible only in a showcase like PLASTIMAGEN México. Also, 28% of buyers said that they work for companies with over 200 employees, which indicates a substantial budget available for purchases.

Foreign visitors come to PLASTIMAGEN México from almost every country in the region. For the 2006 edition buyers came from Argentina, Belize, Bolivia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Panama, Peru, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, United States, Uruguay and Venezuela.
